The last couple of weekends we have been concentrating on finishing the westside of the house to prepare for the stucco. Here is a picture of the westside from a couple of years ago when we re-did the roof. There was an air conditioning unit for the garage, a window for the bathroom and shanty door for the water heater room.
We removed the aircondition unit a while back and covered the hole with plywood. As of two weeks ago this is what the westside looked like.
We got Danny out again to fill in the air conditioning unit hole and window.
Here's a close-up of the beautiful plywood door.
Complete with hole for dryer vent (That has been re-routed to go out the roof) and spicit hooked up to nowhere.
In the above picture the door is raised about a foot above ground, however when we removed the water heater a false floor was exposed.
Random wires came through this hole to power their poor attempt at security lights.

Colin also spent a couple of hours in the attic mounting the new attic fan. As soon as the attic temp reachs over 100 degrees the fan kicks on and expels hot air outside.
