So this weekend, we cut a metal strip to add to the bottom to prevent water from touching the wood from below.
On Sunday, we added a 2x4 (not pictured) to the top of the bump out below. Then we covered the entire bump out with Tyvek. We also, trimmed the Tyvek along the length of the house and caulked all the joints.
The end of this project is in sight. We have ordered the pre-cast and the stone. The stone guy is coming by this Wednesday. We are sooo excited!
