Guest Room #1 Finished!....07.25.2011

We always manage to do this to ourselves! We start a project before we plan to have guests over at the house and then we go into crunchtime mode. These past couple of days have been truly brutal. We have been waking up early (or at least Colin has) and going to sleep past midnight. We solved the ceiling bubbling problem, put up the finishing coat of paint, installed the closet shelving unit, put up the ceiling fan, put together furniture, covered the outlets, bought and returned three different options for bed coverings......But finally we are ready to unveil our new guest room!

New Closet...We plan on getting sliding doors to close it off.

New pretty ceiling fan...it has all five legs!I can't believe it has been almost two years since we moved in. We have done so much to the house. Although, if we sold the house today, I don't think buyers would fully appreciate all the changes we made. I love our little house and how it keeps evolving. Colin says that we are putting a hold on the remodels until the wedding. We will see if he sticks to that or if he starts getting the itch in a few months ;) However, next year will be epic as far as the house transformation goes. Bathrooms and kitchen here we come!
