Everything must go!!! 8.18.2009 - 8.27.2009

Sorry for the late update!! We have been so wrapped up in the home improvement that we barely have time to breath. So brace yourself we are gonna cover a lot of ground. One of the first things we needed to do to the house was make it livable. That meant removing all the flooring in almost every inch of the house.

After pulling up all the carpet, tile and parquet flooring, we discovered stained concrete. Apparently, back in the 1960's they used to stain and wax the floors and leave them exposed. It's a really nice rust color so living with exposed flooring is not that bad after all.
